Grey Heron (eng.)
Fiskehejre (da.)
Ardea cinerea (sc.)
The Grey Heron is extremely common in south Europe.
In northen Italy, you can see herons everywhere in fields, little rivers and near lakes, more or less in every season.
In Denmark they’re common, but the number is extremely less.
And whith my amazing (and a little disappointing), they’re less confident than every other bird species.
Is one of the few cases when taking a photo to a bird are more simple in Italy than in Denmark.
But, however, all the following photos are taken in Jylland (Denmark), with the AF-I 300mm and Sigma 500mm, both in summer- and wintertime.
