During the last years, especially the last two or three, I’ve shooted more than eighty species of birds.
Shooted with my camera, not hunted…
Finally, I’ve decided to order all the photos and make them disponible for consulting.
Some photos are made only for documentation, and the pictorical result are not so good…
Some other have a bird (or more ones) like a subject, but the artistic contents make more or less unuseful wich species are in the frame.
And, more important, all the birds are free.
Only a very little number (marked with the tag “cage” in the galleries) are in big aviary or in captivity.
Maybe some of the best photos are taken to birds in captivity, but I’ve chosen to put here only the free ones, because of the higher satisfaction they give to me.
The photos are taken in Italy (til the beginning of 2008), in Spain during a couple of holidays, some in Sweden, and of course in Denmark, where I currently live.
The index have the names in english, danish and the scientific name in latin, the caption only in english.

Note: The alphabetical order follows the “most common” name, in english (for example, Whooper Swan and Mute Swan are both under “S” letter).
